Description |
Rhizome erect; rhizomes scales lanceolate in outline, margins entire, cells very thin-walled, red-brown. Fronds monomorphic, somewhat leathery. Stipe 15-20 cm, strawcoloured, smooth. Lamina bipinnate, ovate in outline, 30-80 x 10-12 cm; pinnae c. 10 pairs, alternate, sessile, spaced c. 4 cm, making an angle of 80° with the rhachis, apex long tapering, middle pinnae 7-8 x 1.5 cm; pinnules triangular, oblong, 2 x 0.3 cm, acute, lobed to 1/2 of their width; lobes apex acute, base unequal, first basiscopic lobe more developed; rhachis smooth; veins forked. Sori slightly elongated along the vein, curved; indusiate. |
